Two British women have been arrested after a drunken rampage 30,00ft up in the air ended with one of them attempting to open the cabin door, screaming: “I want some fresh air!” In the same weekend, the mayor of Faliraki was celebrating the absence of British holidaymakers at the Greek holiday resort. The Guardian quoted him as saying: “There are far fewer Britons, which means no rapes, no accidents, no drunken debauchery, no going on the rampage. I'm so relieved.”
Are the Brits really the worst behaved when abroad? What compels us to get so drunk and behave so badly? Share your thoughts.
Language terrible. What happened to punctuation. You should all be ashamed of yourselves. Bring back National service, that's what I say.
If the uk wasnt such a hole with crap weather, bad policies& always against its people & a Government robbing people blind & squeezing them so tight financially maybe some of the fithe that dont know their limits wouldnt get so bad?
I think its a disgrace.I have been to Ireland recently.clean streets ticks all the boxes.safe to walk the streets, very hospitable a great vacation do not abuse their hospitality as unlike the rest of Europe it is not tolerated to be so lacking in courtesy and degrades our selves.
In the eyes of the world we need to get serious with these people who are clouding our efforts to mix and appreciate different culture 's and their hospitality .
I think the British which are still to some people thought as the most sophisticated folks in the world have totally changed their values and cultures not just abroad even in the uk they ve lost their moral excellence and manners and being a representive of a sophisticated state. May be its the new generation coming up with mixed values and traditions but one should not forget that a BRITISH represents the whole country when hes abroad. He ll be referred as the BRITISH not as the american or german. Its just ruining our reputation. No offence to anyone and everyone has his own views and i repspect them.
I don't think it's reasonable to suggest that all brits abroad behave badly. BUT, i strenously avoid the mindless, drunken chav scum and others who should know better, that bring shame and embarassment to themselves and our country (well, here and abroad...). I'm a great supporter of young people, but htere are those who neither know, nor want boundaries to their behaviour because it's all about "me, me ,me me"

Do Brits behave worse abroad than other nationalities?
