They know which flights will be popular and let a few seats out as a loss leader and to excite interest. They then increase prices as bookings pick up. This is marketing! The moral is to book as soon as you can.

   Price of flights.
   How can the price of flights vary so much. I look at the internet one day and I can book a flight to Tenerife costing £250.00 - I look again another day at the same flight from the same flight agent and it has gone up nearly one hundred pounds. How come? and why are the flights so much dearer in the school holidays. The children not to go on holiday during term time, but with flights so much cheaper then, parents would be silly to pay a lot more to take their children in the school holidays.
   How prices of flights can vary from day to day I do not know, I would like to know, Jet 2, Monarch and Thompsons all do it, why.

   Does anyone know if cheap flights to Madeira are to be introduced in the near future? I thought I read, sometime, that this was going to happen but haven't been able to find out any more about it.
