   Hi! EMMA FROM IPSWICH- THE TOILETS IN THE HOTELS.BARS AND RESTAURANTS IN EGYPT ARE THE SAME AS AT HOME AND THEY HAVE TOILET PAPER. BUT THE TOILETS OUT SIDE OF THE RESORTS ARE DISGUSTING, THEY ARE JUST HOLES IN THE GROUND AND YOU HAVE TO HOVER OVER THEM TO PEE AND POOP. IF YOU ARE OUT OF THE RESORT AT ANY TIME YOU AND YOUR FEMALE FRIEND BETTER TAKE SOME TOILET PAPPER WITH YOU AS THEY NEVER HAVE ANY IN. IF YOU FORGET TO TAKE ANY YOU WILL END UP LIKE MY FRIEND CLAIRE, SHE WENT TO THE TOILET FOR A POOP WHEN WE WERE ON AN EXCURSION AND THERE WAS NO PAPER. SHE DID NOT NOTICE THIS UN TIL AFTER WARDS AND SHE HAD TO WAIT 3 HRS UNTIL WE GOT BACK TO THE RESORT HOTEL TO WIPE HER BUM. ITS NOT ADVISEABLE TO TRAVEL ON YOUR OWN IN EGYPT ALWAYS GO AROUND WITH A GUIDE. tHE NIGHT-LIFE IS FANTASTIC PLENTY OF PUBS,SCUBS AND RESTAURANTS AND THE WEATHER WILL BE VERY VERY HOT 45-55 the temperature will be.

   I understand the security issues mean that although the airline I am travelling with say that I can have a carry on piece of luggage, handbag, coat and reading materials Heathrow are saying only one piece of carry on luggage with liquid toiletries -up to 100ml only each- stored in a transparent plastic bag has any one found similar conflicts ?
