Why could I never access the Virginmedia website from any computer, while in Peru for the last three weeks? (June 08) Most annoying not to be able to use the Webmail service. It seemed to be blocked. Even Tiscali users got onto theirs OK! Will use Hotmail in future......
Tech Support has no answer so far.....
dear Jim if your off to the Algarve try some of the smaller resorts instead of the mainstream. weather will be in the 80s, I lived there for 5 years, and the biggest I have ever made in 50 years was selling up and coming back. the food is awesome, eat at small backstreet Portuguese eateries, if its full of locals it will be good, even if it looks like you will be the only brits there, you will be made 100% welcome. beaches are fantastic. try get down to the far west, where can can scramble down the rocks, and bag yourself a tinly little bay all to yourself, all in all a fantastic place and a lot less crowded than spain. and make sure you get up to Lisbon for a day, one of the most beautiful and underated cities in the world.
