Ryanair considers 'fat tax'

As budget airline Ryanair considers introducing a fat tax we ask: do you think overweight people should pay more to travel?

I do agree as I spent a very uncomfortable flight sitting next to a very, very large lady. She was using almost a third of my seat as well as her own and I was extremely annoyed. She was not put out at all. She should have been made to pay for 2 seats.

i have never flew with Ryan Air, I use Monarch who are more expensive but at least they lay out all costs clearly.and dont come up with scatter brained Ideas just to make a quick buck,. I will be on next Tuesday's flight to Alicante as normal and I know I will enjoy it.

I am overweight and have ravelled abroad by air for many years. I have experienced different standards from different airlines and have found that it is only those who are out to make a vast profit are the ones who's seats are the narrowest and closest together. It has nothing to do with passengers being overweight or not. Is this not just another form of discrimination? Where would this end?

Also why not have a bad breath tax too?

Over a certain weight passengers should pay for two seats, it's not fair on the people that have to sit beside them, there is just enough room when your a normal weight.
