As budget airline Ryanair considers introducing a fat tax we ask: do you think overweight people should pay more to travel?
I THINK IT IS AWFUL JUST BECAUSE SOME PEOPLE ARE OVERWEIGHT THEY ARE GonNA CHARGE EXTRA. THERE ARE SOME PEOPLE OVERWEIGHT DUE TO MEDICAL PROBLEMS
ryan air are the worst airline goin! i cant believe theyve come up with this idea what a joke . ive flown once with them and i would never go with them again!! i would rather pay extra and go with thompson.
Why not, 1 kilo over your baggage allowance and you are charged - let's do the same if you are excessively overweight - discrimination, so what, my golf clubs are far more important than a fattie hogging the narrow arm rests.
yes they should charge a fat tax cos` it takes more energy to get a fat person off the ground than a slimmer one they charege you for excess luggage don`t they so why should alarger person not pay more
Not only does the low cost airline charge checked in baggage, now they are coming up with this nonsense. We are not supposed to discriminate anyone who are physically and horizontally challenged. Travelling by Monarch airline is not what that comfortable either... seats are very closed together, even a slim person felt uncomfortable let alone a large person. If they continue to add different things to charge, it is no longer a low cost airline!..a high cost airline instead, so better off travel by big commercial airline.
