Ryanair considers 'fat tax'

As budget airline Ryanair considers introducing a fat tax we ask: do you think overweight people should pay more to travel?

I am very overweight and I have never been abroad as I hav a fear of the seatbelt and seat not fitting .I think this is disgusting idea as it is this discrimination that puts me off flying and my husband would love to take me away !!!!!!

I'm am 8 1/2 stone person... so no probs there, but i wonder where these taxes will end. Have airlines every concidered putting in seats that are big enough to enable even slimmer people to sit in comfort. The seat get narrower all the time. I struggle with arm moving on planes and I am only slim.

i am of ample proportions but as long as i can sit in the seat and close the seatbelt there should be no reason why i should be charged a "fat tax"
