Pampered pooch inherits $12m

Is it ever acceptable to bequest money to a pet? New York billionaire Leona Helmsley has left $12m (£5.97m) to her pet dog, Trouble. Is this a terrible waste of money or is safeguarding the upkeep of a loved pet understandable? Should the courts overturn her will and leave the money to her family instead? Have your say.

obviously pampered pets need more than just FOOD, think about it - Vet bills still need to be paid, vacinations to be done, toys to be bought, litter trays, do leads.....use your loaf!!!!!!

Have you all gone mental? £5 Millioin to a dog is plain stupid. Ican understand people wanting pets to be looked after when they die but ask yourselves this whats to say that the person looking after the dog (and money)will treat it right? The money could have been put to better use, donating it to an animal charity for instance.
The big question for me is why any animal would require £5 million to survive, how many tins of chum does it need?
