Pampered pooch inherits $12m

Pampered pooch inherits $12m

Is it ever acceptable to bequest money to a pet? New York billionaire Leona Helmsley has left $12m (£5.97m) to her pet dog, Trouble. Is this a terrible waste of money or is safeguarding the upkeep of a loved pet understandable? Should the courts overturn her will and leave the money to her family instead? Have your say.

If you want to leave all your money to your pet, then that's your choice. People should mind their own business and learn to respect other people's wishes! If there was more people like Leona then there would be no animal cruelty at all in this world!!

Totally insane. Dogs stink and eat babies - fact. Spend the money on having it put down
