Pampered pooch inherits $12m

Pampered pooch inherits $12m

Is it ever acceptable to bequest money to a pet? New York billionaire Leona Helmsley has left $12m (£5.97m) to her pet dog, Trouble. Is this a terrible waste of money or is safeguarding the upkeep of a loved pet understandable? Should the courts overturn her will and leave the money to her family instead? Have your say.

Her money, her choice. I think if her relatives had thought so much of her, they might respect her decision. obviously not. I would choose my dog over most of my relatives anyway.
