Do the Royal Family have a right to privacy?

This weekend The Sunday Times reported details of a blackmail plot against a Royal. The identity of the Royal involved in the alleged sex and drugs blackmail plot remains protected by court order. Do taxpayers have the right to know more or is the scandal a private matter for the Royal Family?

    the royals cover everything up and get away with it. if an ordinary person was involved in a sex and drug scandal their names and photos would be splashed over the papers. it`s us who pay taxes to keep that lot so we have a right to know the truth of thngs they get up to
