What's your favourite lunch time vice?

When the 4th Earl of Sandwich discovered that the delights of bread and meat would sustain him through lengthy gambling sessions, or so one of the many stories surrounding the birth of the sandwich goes, who would have thought that over 250 years later, armies of lunching Brits would still be munching their way through millions of the things every day.

But are you a crayfish and rocket or corned beef and brown sauce person? Do you have a particularly weird and wonderful recipe for the perfect butty? Or do you ditch the sandwich in preference to another lunch time vice? Have your say.

    Boiled ham, top with thinly sliced cheddar then sliced newly boiled potatoes, still hot so cheese starts to melt, Yummy

    A tripple decker always goes down well my hubby makes em for me. You need 3 slices of your fave bread on the first slice you need to put in your fave cheese with slices of beetroot and a little mayo or salad cream then top it with your next slice then on that one you put a nice slice of ham, best ham is good with thin slices of cucumber and toms with a spread of pickle put on the last slice cut and enjoy.
