What's the best British comedy?

Is Monty Python funnier than Only Fools and Horses? UKTV Gold asked 4,000 people to choose the British TV comedy they considered to be the most influential. Monty Python topped the list followed closely by Only Fools and Horses. Is Derek 'Del Boy' Trotter funnier than the Ministry of Silly Walks or maybe you prefer Blackadder, Little Britain, The Young Ones or something completely different?

Python was the original and the best. And there were many eps of OFAH that were more serious than comedy.

Why the comparison! Two different styles of comedy. Python a sketch show(not the Spanish Inquisition)and Only Fools a ****(He who dares Rodney) both equally brilliant in their genre. Personally I preffered David Jason in Open all Hours and I am very fond of Two Pints of Lager.
