Do office romances ever last the course?

It's rare to find a place of work where at least a few people don't harbour a secret, or not so secret crush on one of their colleagues. Maybe the sheer amount of time we spend working these days makes the odd office romance inevitable.

But do they ever work out? Is it completely inappropriate to start stepping out with one your colleagues? Have you got a secret crush on a colleague you'd like to share with us? Or do you have a terrible tale of what can go wrong when you find yourself romantically entwined with someone at work? Have your say.

    Mine cost me a marrage a house and the nice girl turned into a nutter had a child to me and then buggered off leaving me with the kid

    i first met my er 4 yrs ago we both have partners but it was just supposed to put a bit of spice back into our relationships,we were made redundant and 4 yrs later we are still with our partners but we meet up when ever we can

    Not the same office - but the same company - still going strong... was only a little embarrassing when people first realised.. a bit of ribbing... now everyone is used to it.

    Very rarely, and when the fall out comes invariably one of them will leave because of the uncomfortable atmosphere.
