Do office romances ever last the course?

Do office romances ever last the course?

It's rare to find a place of work where at least a few people don't harbour a secret, or not so secret crush on one of their colleagues. Maybe the sheer amount of time we spend working these days makes the odd office romance inevitable.

But do they ever work out? Is it completely inappropriate to start stepping out with one your colleagues? Have you got a secret crush on a colleague you'd like to share with us? Or do you have a terrible tale of what can go wrong when you find yourself romantically entwined with someone at work? Have your say.

my nan married her boss and they were happy. monica says you can fall for a married guy but i say only if you let yourself. you are playing with fire and there is no excuse for cheaters. you get what you deserve at the end of the day there is no use in pretending to be the victim. the only victims are those you are lying to and cheating on.

I thought that it could in the past but now I think that only few people are so lucky, specially when involves other people. We both met at work having partners, being married. It is down to communication. Women are more brave and honest. Men, being married I find still want sth from other women but when it comes to an honest discussion what they expect from a second relationship, they hardly ever do. It just leaves emptiness, as they say I never promised you anything. You're not my partner. We are all human being and is so cruel to treat someone like that! Giving sth and taking away even more. Guys remember! There are some married women who can fall in love with a married guy and they need to be treated with a respect. It can happen to anyone.

I went out with my ex for 3 years we had a child together he then left me 7 months ago and is getting married in 2 month. 1 good thing he no longer works at same place would be very very awkward if we did.
