For most of us, the hour's break in the middle of the day passes in a whirlwind of grabbing a bite to eat, maybe catching up with a few household chores like paying a bill or nipping down to the post office. But there are plenty of things that we could do in an hour, if only we could find a little inspiration. So, what do you do that you think other Virgin Media customers might find enjoyable? Are you lucky enough to work near a museum or park, do you hit the gym or pound the pavement? Have your say.
I agree with the points made by Bosses from Petruscab's. Our children would still be doing the equivalent of climbing chimneys and working in the mines if it wasn't for the workers organising to fight against it. The problem in this century is that people seem to have forgotten the history of the workers movements and all the gains that were made are now being clawed back from us.
nurse = early shift 7.5 hours statutory break 10 mins at nurse in charge discretion = not specified
late shift 8 hours = 30 min at discretion of nurse in charge + 26p unsocial 1 hours pay
longe day 15 hours 7am to 9.15pm = 13.5 hours pay as breaks should be taken at the discretion of the nurse in charge = reality quick fag and sandwhich on the trot or sat doing paperwork as 4 staff into 24 patients dont go
talk,text,talk,text,eat,eat,text and talk!
If posters have a chance to view previous posts, have a read at Bosses from Petruscab's answers to questions I posed.
How lucky everybody is to get a lunch break. ALL down to Union bosses!! They've been very quiet recently. Wonder if they don't get a paid lunch hour any longer?
Yes, a break is a way to wind down but to have to leave a building to avoid a pestering union official is a bit beyond a joke.
The best way to spend your lunch break - or whatever - is to CHILL, and to hell with everybody else!
