Catherine Tate landed the role of Doctor Who's new companion, reprising her role as Donna from the 2006 Christmas special in the new BBC series. Meanwhile, Freema Agyeman, who played the Doctor's existing companion Martha Jones, only gets to return mid-series. Has Freema been snubbed in favour of Catherine? Who is the better companion for the Doctor?
Freema!yes bring her back she was great a very strong minded assistant and she was madly in love with the Dr i want to see her really kiss him! :) Cath Tate will never be a Dr Assistant for me rubbish! Bring back Martha Jones!!!!!!!! PLEASE :(
BILLIE PIPER>BILLIE PIPER>BILLIE PIPER>BILLIE PIPER>BILLIE PIPER>BILLIE PIPER>BILLIE PIPER>BILLIE PIPER>BILLIE PIPER>BILLIE PIPER>BILLIE PIPER......
Oh my god not catherine tate. Surely the BBC could have made a better choice I mean she's funny and all, but I just don't think she's right for Dr Who. Bring back Billie Piper.
Catherine Tate is FAB - at what she does - but not at doctor SWho - I hate to say it but I didn't like her character in last Christmas's episode - and even though think it would a fab twist to involve her ina couple of episodes - NOT to have her as a real / permanent assistant. Billie Piper was suprisingly good - bring back Romana - that's what I say!!!!!
I think we need to find an actress who, like Billie Piper, is known to the public but who has a little character - and let's avoid cameo roles as well as direct from drama school bores!
