Catherine Tate landed the role of Doctor Who's new companion, reprising her role as Donna from the 2006 Christmas special in the new BBC series. Meanwhile, Freema Agyeman, who played the Doctor's existing companion Martha Jones, only gets to return mid-series. Has Freema been snubbed in favour of Catherine? Who is the better companion for the Doctor?
Both equally annoying, stick with Captn Jack!
i think the only reason they want tate in the show is to give their ratings a bit of a boost and get into the papers again its probably slumped since billie piper left and freema wasnt a household name catherine tate has her own fans who will watch the show
i agree with kate from plymouth catherine tate was awful at christmas it wasnt her character any little munchkin could have played an airhead her acting was wooden her voice grates on me i would just love someone to shoot her (character not catherine tate)i was so glad that they didnt take her on full time i might ch this series now they have brought her into it again
Freema would make a better fulltime assistant, can't see tate working myself - but if Rose were to make an appearane she would definitly get my childrens and my vote to return as the assistant
i think rose was the best by far.I cried loads on her last 2 episodes!! i don't think catherine tate will bring the right "feel" to the show but all we can do is wait and see,i wasn't sure about david at first but now i think he is the best and is gorgeous (which helps!)
