peter cambria from watford says
Keane is selfish, his intelligenge of football is
These post.s just go to show how intelligent some people are cannot even grasp the fact there is a spell checker here. dumb.
just let the overpaid footballers do the talking and stop complaining. we will see at the end who wins the league.
lets all just hope we see a upset and see hull city win it. NOT but who knows
What such terribly sad supporters lol. United getting hammered again just for being the most succesful, popular club in the world, Come om guys £30 million is peanuts to us and so charitable to help spurs along
Yes, money does talk and it would seem the Premier League is becoming richer and richer. England's top league has changed so much in the last decade it is almost unrecognisable from what it used to be. Money is the driving force, no longer is it the pride of being the best club in England, it's about making the mega money that European football brings. That is why anything less than a European qualifying place is seen as a failure. Mid-table survival is no longer enough, the constant pursuit of money is killing not just the domestic English leagues, but the national side as well. Where do player's priorities lie these days? Playing well at club level to get a national team call up and the pride of playing for your country? Or playing well to get your club into the Champions League and earn bucket loads of money in bonuses and maybe demand (even) higher wages? These players even get paid to play for their country, and it's debateable that they put as much effort in for country as they do for club. What has happened to playing out of pride and the knowledge that you've been recognised as one of the best in the country, such as the England team of '66?
It's a funny old game, and if it's not careful it will implode. As the financial gap between the top league and the lower leagues widens, if the Football Association doesn't step in and do something, clubs with great traditions will disappear. Currently the FA is penalising these clubs with points deductions due to financial "irregularities", this can only serve to put these clubs under more financial pressure as they look doomed to relegation to a lower league, and that means less revenue. I'm not saying it's right for the FA to bail out these clubs, but surely sealing their fate isn't the way to work it. There needs to be a leveling of the playing field, financially speaking. It has become a vicious cycle with money ruling the game. Clubs want to succeed, and bringing in good players can help this, but this is costing more and more money, which means smaller clubs are being priced out of the market and cannot compete. If this was the business world, the Competition Commission would have been called in as the top clubs are monopolising the talent. Yesterday was a great example, Robinho going to Man City because they out-bid Chelsea, and If you believe the President of Real Madrid, Robinho didn't leave for "sporting reasons". So he went where the money was, what hope do clubs with less money have?
Do the FA need to take action? Does FIFA need to enfore capped wages and transfer fees? Something needs to be fixed or the beautiful game is going to turn ugly.

very limited.I was surprised when I read that Liverpool
paid 20 millions pounds.Benitez once more demonstrated his knowledge of football and players.
