Newcastle remained silent in the face of vociferous fans' protests this afternoon as speculation continued that manager Kevin Keegan is leaving the club.
Great news Toon army, John McCririck says he is willing to manage NUFC, might do a good job!!
Keegan was the only hope for Newcastle, the man was just getting settled in and chas n dave forces him out. A MANAGER IS MEANT TO MANAGE!!! NOT SOME BLOKE IN A MADE UP JOB! GET WISE OUT, ASHLEY DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR. SELL THE CLUB, BRING BACK THE onE AND onLY 'KING KEV'.
to me kevin keegan has been a great player but he want's to grow up he is just a big kid newcastle fans want to grow up as well its just a football game who care's who is manager its just money at the end of the day
who owns the club the fans or ashley, where would all these clubs be if it was'nt for these money men. if he paid £136 million for ithow long would it take to get his money back unless he sold out these toon fans who are wanting to boycott the club think twice clubs don't need gate money to survive in premier.
If the papers are right and KK signed a contract without reading it then he is stupid. I find it unlikely. Whether Ashley is right or wrong about that does not matter, he appointed Little (not so) Wise Man and it was doomed from then on. Wise did such a great job at Swindon and Leeds didn't he? Without Poyet doing the job for him he has no idea. The idea of the Toon Army having a local derby at our place looks even more likely. Welcome to the lower leagues Newcastle, morally your management are already rock bottom. Still, Fat Man and Little Man are meeting some potential foreign buyers now so it may all be different next week when the Tackem faithful see a chequebook waving.
