Catty will endeavour to answer as many of the best selected questions after every round of the tournament.

Do you think Narraway is a bad section for this game and Ashton should have picked someone with a few caps at least. He's a good player but it may be the wrong game to come from nowhere in given that Haskell has next to zero caps an d the Welsh back row has two class Lions forwards with plenty of nous.
Mike Catt:
Hi Richard. I saw some of the papers only gave Luke four or five out of ten but I thought he carried the ball well and his work rate was exceptional. He's always played well for Gloucester and he's come from virtually nowhere. It’s great to see these young guys come through so let’s praise them.

Well done in the world cup btw :)
Do you think Tait should be playing full-back in place of Balshaw? After his performance in the final the least he deserves is to make the bench dont you think?
Mike Catt:
Hi Alex. It's a very interesting debate and there are a few candidates. I actually think Balsh had a good game and ran some very good lines and people should look at the bigger picture other than his mistake. Matt's omission was a surprise but he will be back. I'm also a big fan of Nick Abendanon but he didn't have a great game against the Saxons unfortunately.

Do you think Tait has been left because there are too many light weight players in the backs and Ashto is tring to find a balance and combination of brawn(Tindall)and guile(Flood)? Or do you think the line up could change drastically if we had a for instance a beefy inside centre who had great hands and could cut some good lines of running?
Mike Catt:
Hi Richard. Brian does seem to like the combination of a big crash centre such as Tinds or Jamie Noon alongside the creativity of a Floody say. It was unfortunate for Tinds against Wales but I thought Jamie was superb against Italy. As for Matt Tait, he didn't do a lot wrong when he came on and had a good world cup. Beleive me, he has a big future.

mike.do you think rugby league is tougher than union
Mike Catt:
Interesting question Colin! I actually played against the legendary 1996 Wigan team for Bath before the pro era of Union and yes, that was tough against the likes of Tuigamala! But since the professional era of Rugby Union, you see many players switching codes and the physicality of both and the training required forces me to sit on the fence on that one!

Mike
Do you think it is time to limit the number of overseas players in our premiership?
Mike Catt:
Well we actually do Colin. You're only allowed two to start in the Premiership. It's also great to have these guys playing over here because it raises the standard.

What are your views on Vainikolo? Should he really be playing for England under residency?
Mike Catt:
I suppose I'm probably not the guy to ask as I was in the same boat as Lesley although I never played a competitive game for South Africa. But yes, those are the rules so it's fair enough.

Mike - who are your 6 Nations players to look out for and who do you think will win? Thanks!
Mike Catt:
Good question Jason. I think it's going to be as open a tournament as we've seen for ages but on current form you'd have to say France are favourites and I love the way they play. Although England lost to Wales, I still think we'll be up there if we can play the way we did in the first half. As for players to watch, most of the French backs, the young boys for England such as Flood, Strettle and Haskell and, of course the likes of James Hook who was brilliant against England!
Gordon from Leicester:

Hi Catty. How weird will it be watching this 6 Nations instead of playing? Do you think you'll miss being in the thick of it?
Mike Catt:
I didn't actually miss any of the build-up Gordon but when the guys were out on the pitch and I was watching I felt a sudden flutter and thought, god I'd like to be out there!
