    Dear Eddie
Now FI going back to the BBC can we we now have a change from 'BORING BRUNDLE'together with BLUNDELL?,please take there place and i'll go back to FI.

    Answer

    Eddie Irvine:

I don't understand why BBC have decided to invest so much money into F1. What the BBC are good at is documentaries and drama. Okay, so it's good for the fans not to have so many advert breaks but it doesn't make financial sense to me!

    Hi Eddie,

Now that F1 is going back to the BBC, Could you see yourself as a commentator?

    Answer

    Eddie Irvine:

It's not something I'm really interested in, to be honest. I like watching the races but I'm happy with my current business investments.

  5. Question

    Nikki from Kent:

    Mar 24, 09:45

    Hi Eddie,

Do you miss driving in F1 & Would you ever like to own a F1 team?

    Answer

    Eddie Irvine:

In think the team ownership thing now is just for manufacturers or certain people like the guy from Force India who can be the standard bearer for his country going up against the big manufacturers. That’s very sexy and I really like the idea of that and think it will work very well for him but Ireland doesn’t have the economic power to do that. I could get involved with someone else’s set-up like I nearly did with the Russian but it’s not the same if you’re not from that country. But against Ferrari, Mercedes and BMW I don’t really think there’s a position there to be a private owner. Frank Williams has done an amazing job to hold that team together but you have to say that some day that team is going to be sold and it’s probably going to be to a Russian or Chinese businessman who wants to do something like Force India has done. I wouldn’t rule out coming back to F1 in some capacity but it’s not something for me at the moment.

  6. Question

    Gary Holland from birmingham:

    Mar 23, 21:22

after kimis comfortable win do you think ferrari could dominate the season as they looked so much quicker than everyone else?

    Answer

    Eddie Irvine:

I think the pendulum has swung in Ferrari's favour but I don't think you can say they will dominate the season. It's still too early for that. I don't think you can really figure out the real pace of everybody’s cars until you get back to Europe as the first away races are quite deceiving. We'll know after the first couple of European races.

  7. Question

    Karl from Manchester, England:

    Mar 23, 14:46

hi Eddie, seems some driver's(Massa) can't deal with the new changes such as the lack of TC, do you think it's a step forward or a step back?

    Answer

    Eddie Irvine:

Massa is certainly under a lot of pressure now. He made mistakes in Australia and he messed up in Malaysia. I like the removal of traction control as it already seems to be separating the more skillful drivers.

  8. Question

    jasmine from manchester:

hello eddie, i would just like to know what has alonso done to you, personally? in the mirror the other day, your article did nothing but attack him, yes he may have done some silly things in the past but so as schaumacher and i'm sure that includes yourself too! i hear you were more playboy than driver, or is that another false thing read in a paper. give him a break.......please

    Answer

    Eddie Irvine:

Alonso for me is an amazing driver but everything else he fails at miserably. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. That’s why there are menus in restaurants. Some people like chicken and some people like fish. To me, Fernando Alonso’s just a very smelly fish!
