Fernando Alonso has labelled it his least favourite circuit and VM columnist Eddie Irvine has blasted it as 'unnacceptable' and 'atrocious'. Do you think the Indianapolis F1 circuit is the worst on the calendar? What other circuits do you disapprove of? Listen to Eddie's comments and tell us if you agree with him.
Always hope it rains on f1 day !!!!!
I never thought the day would come when I agreed with the jammiest man ever to race in F1. He's correct though; the American grand prix is a pathetic waste of time; the circuit is dreadful and as for the circuit's history - pah! Maybe it means something to the Yanks, but not to the rest of us.
Indy is boring. The managemetn of INdy has messed up all open wheeled racing in the US - why let them do it to F1? Weather, location in the country, track configuration are all poor. Laguna is probably too tight for a great race, but Monterey and central California would certaily be better place to visit than Indiana is.
There is no point in the american grand prix. They dont really like it! Usig that stupid course also ruined a whole race with the tyre issue. There is no other course on the calander that has a slopped corner like that!!!
No - it was won by a Brit, so how can it be ?
