A dismal performance against South Africa ended England's Cricket World Cup and it's hard to see where Michael Vaughan's men go from here? Who or what is to blame? And what can be done to help English cricket, particularly the coloured-clothing type, get back on its feet? Tell us what you think.
The reason our cricket team is S***
is because,like their counterparts
in Soccer,they are vastly overpaid
and for doing what? SWEET F.A.
they go off to the carribean and
Australia and sit on their back
sides boozing or messing around
instead of training and working.
They should bw paid on commision,
if they do not acheive minnimum
standards,they don't get paid and
if they don't like it,drop them and
pick someone else.
There is far too much of "THE OLD
SCHOOL TIE syndrome and unless that
changes English Cricket,Ruby and
Soccer will continue to be third
rate. We,the public,have,for too
long,been taken for idiots and
unless people are prepared to vote
with their wallets and boycott
the game, we will continue to be
taken for idiots
Australia and sit on their backsides all day. Win, Lose or Draw
they still get paid.
A clean sweep is required. Give Ian Botham a chance to put his money where his mouth is, it could work. I don't doubt the commitment of the players but a new direction is required. Change the selectors.
Graveney MUST go as well or all will be in vain.
Englad were well beaten by a south african side which each and every player had a passion to win for there country( even the 12th man) England need to have that passion and will to win. Strauss for capt, Botham for coach, and more people like KP and panersar . KP for his batting and Monty for his passion
I really cannot figure out, what Michael Vaughan contributed to England team?He can't bat, can't bowl, can't field and the funny thing was after every defeat he kept on saying England must improve.
