A dismal performance against South Africa ended England's Cricket World Cup and it's hard to see where Michael Vaughan's men go from here? Who or what is to blame? And what can be done to help English cricket, particularly the coloured-clothing type, get back on its feet? Tell us what you think.
No doubt about it we were poor, but I think we pla too much cricket and players such as Flintoff suffered from burnout following a long winter. We should not just stick to centrally contracted players;there's lots of talent at Kent etc.
Can the English play cricket? I say not with this bunch. We need a new captain, new management and more South Africans like KP. Perhaps the we need to take up paddling!!
the simple fact of the matter is, they were trying too hard, making too many mistakes, and not enjoying the game as they should be, sacking the coach is not going to make them do better only make them worse.
Lara got it right with the message to his team - sit back lads we can win this on wides and NO balls with the occasional full-toss thrown in.
If that fails they will run themselves out or pull an ham-string.
just face up to the fact that the only people who think england are any good are the media a few weeks before their next major tournament
