A dismal performance against South Africa ended England's Cricket World Cup and it's hard to see where Michael Vaughan's men go from here? Who or what is to blame? And what can be done to help English cricket, particularly the coloured-clothing type, get back on its feet? Tell us what you think.
Far too much intrnational cricket is played around the world nowadays ,players should be playingmore county cricket to get them into the right frame of mind for both tests and one dayers. not all cricket is smash , bang wollop even though its exciting to watch but the future of the game will be ruined if thats the only shots our youngsters can play "get forward and there is nothing wrong with a forward defensive
The Trouble With England There Are Not Many True All Rounders Since Botham.Freddie Is Close
I watched Australia play South Africa, when the australians lost a wicket Ponting steadied them. After he was out a masterclass in cricket it oozes through the team. If on member has a bad day you can be sure the others will not. Can england ever get back to that stage? Yes with practice an determination as ell a bucketful of oride and guts.It will not be pretty but gentlemen it is time to stand up and be counted when playing for your country.
dunca fletcher has taken the blame but records show he is the best coach we've had,the fault lies with the players especially vaughan and flintoff who did not produce the goods when it mattered.
I feel sorry for fletcher who only a few months ago was the golden coach of cricket lead our valiant troops into battle against the worlds best cricket team the Aussies, but now he has gone to to say a big thanks for what he put back into English cricket, and now lets get a bit of youth behind the team with frash ideas ie Darren Gough perhaps working with Ian Botham there comitment and passion must rub off onto the team.
give em a go what we got to loose put some passion back into our cricket before its too late.
