Summer Transfer Rumours

Summer Transfer Rumours

Yes, it's that time of the year - when speculation runs rife about who's going where and supporters around the land get over-excited about the potential arrival - however unlikely - of Kaka, Eto'o, Rob Earnshaw and such like. Especially with the show window that is Euro 2008.

Who are going to be your team's big summer signings?

LATEST TRANSFER RUMOURS:

- Manchester City executive chairman Garry Cook remains "optimistic" the club can attract Ronaldinho to Eastlands. But Barcelona sporting director Txiki Begiristain says the club are still "waiting for concrete offers" for Ronaldinho and Samuel Eto'o despite reported interest from Premier League teams.

- Gareth Barry's Aston Villa nightmare has deepened with the midlands club confirming they had rejected a new bid from Liverpool, and excluding him from pre-season training. Villa insist the offer from Anfield was not the £17million one widely reported earlier in the day.

- Zenit St Petersburg say Andrei Arshavin could be interested in a move to Chelsea. Apparently Arsenal are the most active in trying to buy the player, although Barcelona are also in the mix.

- Big Phil Scolari has reportedly told Chelsea to sell Didier Drogba, and has also offered Florent Malouda to Barcelona as part of an £18m bid for striker Samuel Eto’o.

- Finally, Euro 2008 star David Villa insists he will reject Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal to stay with Valencia.

Tell us your transfer hints, your summer wish list and more - we'd love to hear it.

I'm a loyal Spurs fan and after reading some of comments here all I can say is if Boro want Robinson their welcome to him he did sod all for us last season every time we looked like getting a result he cocked it up. If Berbatov goes to Manu he won't settle coz he'll have to share with that little cry baby Rooney especailly now he's married that afcank. Robbie Keane going to lpool is a bit harsh but wsuch is the way of the world, but let us not forget we've got young Modrich coming to join the ranks at White Hart Lane and if he performs alf as well as he did in Europe he could be a potential game winner for us, so it needn't be all doom and gloom. Chelsea might of bought it last year ferguson might it up this year.Who knows, Keep the faith come boxing day we may have a better idea.
