Not surprisingly, it looks like one of two clubs will win the SPL... I think we all know who they are.
Celtic and Rangers have both been fairly quiet in the summer transfer market but they both have a solid core of Scottish talent mixed with quality imports - the question is merely which blend will work best this season - Celtic have a sparkling midfield with the beguiling talents of Nakamura and the ranginess of Scott Brown but Rangers have a battle-hardened defence featuring the wall-like Carlos Cuellar.
As to who will grab the all-important third spot, expect Aberdeen, Hibs and Motherwell to duke it out though Hearts may yet surprise if the new boss can make sense of the Tynecastle chaos.
At the foot of the table, Hamilton will do well to stay up though many eyes will be on their 17-year-old starlet James McCarthy.
