A report has revealed that the cost of season tickets for next year at Premier League clubs has risen by 8% - that's more than twice the rate of consumer price inflation.
The average cost of a mid-priced season ticket has risen to £590, with some clubs' prices going up by as much as 20 per cent.
Premier League clubs get huge benefits from television revenues, which have increased rapidly in recent years - yet still they continue to impose substantial increases in season ticket costs.

Way to high for me
Some clubs do charge too much, mind you to watch some teams 2p would be too much. Without wishing to name the teams, Redneck might give you a clue to one
I agree with Taff, they should cap the salaries like they do in Rugby League, and if the team does not obey they are fined and loose points.
The salaries are out of control, but you can not blame the players,if teams are willing to pay daft sums they are not daft so take it.
