A report has revealed that the cost of season tickets for next year at Premier League clubs has risen by 8% - that's more than twice the rate of consumer price inflation.
The average cost of a mid-priced season ticket has risen to £590, with some clubs' prices going up by as much as 20 per cent.
Premier League clubs get huge benefits from television revenues, which have increased rapidly in recent years - yet still they continue to impose substantial increases in season ticket costs.

STOP WINGEING AND DonT GO TO SOCCER GAMES,I STOPPED YEARS AGO WHEN THEY STARTED TAKING THE P""S OUT OF TRUE FANS,BOYCOTT THE GAMES AND GET A REAL LIFE!!
season tickets and matchday tickets are priced well beyond the means of most of your true working class footie fans nowadays.
now its mostly catering for the middle and upper classes along with business coperate deals and foriegn travel clubs, sadly the days of true fans following their clubs being able to go to a game grab a bovril and a pie, then read the programe on the way home have long gone.
I let my season ticket go over 20 years ago when the price went higher than my weeks wages.
it would be nice to get normal tickets for liverpool . let alone a season ticket !!!!!!
