Whatever could He mean?
Now that Portugal have been eliminated from Euro 2008, the eyes and ears of the football world - at least in England and Spain - are locked into waiting for Cristiano Ronaldo's decision as to where he will be playing next season - Manchester or Madrid.
United insist he is 'not for sale', but the twinkle-toed 23-year-old says "Everybody knows what I want but things don't only depend on me."
. Looking at the evidence, it's hard to see what United can do to keep him at Old Trafford. Is it the right decision for Ronaldo? And will United suffer if, as expected, he is no longer a Red next season? HAVE YOUR SAY.
hey conza dont ever identify man u as the reds. there is only one "the reds" and thats the mighty liverpool fc. got it pal!!!!!!!!!!
will man u suffer without ronaldo? i certainly hope so.............. giggs needs to go too before his chest air blinds him, hes gonna need a club steward to stand by with a zimmer the way hes goin. and as for that scotch swillin get of a manager, blood pressure check anyone, i predict a heart attack.
James ...can u not remember when clubs used to hold onto your contract indefinatly keeping a player at a club and not playing him at all and he could not ply his trade anywhere ,thats the hold they used to have ...so it serves the greedy clubs right that a player wants to leave ,,hes done utd a good service by todays standards ,,,u have to move while top of his game .......................oh and yes hes a greedy git like all the other pro footballers ...bunch of Toss**s
Its just another case of a player thinking he can do what the **** he likes, despite the fact he is tied in to a contract with a club that were and probably still are, reluctant to sell their prized asset and the one player that has done more to win United league titles no's 9 and 10 than any other player.
Player contracts are not worth the paper the clubs bother to print them on and it's a ****ing disgrace.
United are now left in the unenviable position of either keeping a wantaway player who if played, will probably not give his best, as well as his value decreasing if he is sidelined for long periods, or, selling him and risking a sizeable drop in goals, matchwinning goals at that which could also mean lack of trophies.
Thing is, how many more times can the clubs, the Premier League, the FA and FIFA stand by and let players get away with this?
let him go .. he will be at madrid with other top class players so he will not be playing at his best lkike he would be if he was still playing for the reds
Just let him go seeif he does as well with overseas he will not
have the players around nim making the goels for himT
