   pay him whatever it takes and give him a free hand with NO
   INERFERANCE from the old codgers at Lords. Let him pick WHO
   HE WANTS either as coaches or players. In a very short space of

   Vaughan needs to bat further down the order. I would have him in
   the middle, perhaps between Freddie and Broad. Anderson is
   undoubtidly a far better batsman than he gets credit for and might
   fit in nicely between Collingwood and Pieterson. Ambrose is a
   complete waste of space. Surely there must be a better wicket
   keeper than him. Our bowlers need to bowl STRAIGHT and FULL.
   The South Africans are not going to be tempted by anything wide
   of leg stump it is a pointless and futile exercise. Our slip and
   Gully fielders are TOO deep, they need to watch how the Aussies
   do it. Constantly in the batsmans vision and their catching is
   top class. England, when the ball is coming in your direction, the
   idea is to get behind it and stop it, NOT DIVE OVER IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
