   I believe KP is the best choice as skipper, he will bring a new approach and a freshness that will move England forward. 9 tests until the Ashes start so we cannot change the team overnight. If Freddie stays fit and KP attacks with both the bat and in the field I think it could be a great combination. MV to come back at 3, with no pressure next summer and the ashes could be coming home.

   So very pleased for Paul Collingwood, pity that some of the other batsmen didn't live up to their expectations. Freddie was wonderful, as usual. MV ? well what can I say. Give Andrew Straus the captaincy, and let Beefy & Alex Stewart get on with trying to get our respect back. The crowd were great.

   I have to agree with most of you... MV simply doesnt warrant a place in the side and woeful captaincy defending a decent total let the series slip away, and if it was he who told monty to stop appealing then it was idiotic, pressure the umpires, and the pressure builds on the batters too... when i played , my captain would give me the new ball and say this " bowl fast, bowl straight and use aggression " .. we are now a mix of wimpy public school boys , and bad boys told to keep calm... its a total mess.
