For Pete's sake!

For Pete's sake!

Another day in the life of Pete Doherty. Earlier this week having played at V Festival he was arrested for suspected drug possession. But once again the court let him go on a technicality. With this arrest being his fifteenth, is he simply getting what he deserves or does the infamous Doherty have friends in high places?

My Dad has worked with young offenders for 30 years and 95% of them were always from tough backgrounds. People from more middle class backgrounds also offend but are ten times less likely to be convicted. They get cautions and suspended sentences.

Any publicity is good publicity, unfortunately the newspapers won't let him disappear into his richly deserved obscurity as a no talent junkie. He should have been locked up ages ago but Labour won't build more prisons so that's out. He should have married Amy Wino and gone to live in Trinidad.

Is he making a mockery of British justice?
    Yes
