I would have thought virin media would be trying to attract new customers, not drive them away. If as many people switch to sky as are threatening to then,Virgin media are going to be in serious trouble. Virgin Media could come crashing down like one of Branson's failed balloon flights!I am no businessman but I do know that no customers equals no bussiness. This can be sorted out easily but in my opinion VM are just being bloody minded. I for one will call sky tonight and switch and demand compensation in the form of a discount on my final bill.

I am really disappointed that within a few weeks of NTL turning into Virgin media the Sky channels have gone. While I didnt watch some of the channels as much as some of the other people on this board I did enjoy watching Sky News and Sky Sports News. I wonder what the next channels to go will be? I am sure we wont be getting any discounts or price cuts either...not a good start Mr Branson....

I actually joined NTL 2 months ago, after careful comparison with Sky, it seemed the better deal. But my main reason for joining was the Sky channels. Why do Virgin Media appear to ruin everything? I believe I should not have to stay in the 12 month contract i took with NTL, due to NTL going back on their deal as far as Im concerned. At the end of the day, viewing customers WANT Sky, and most would pay a little more, they dont care about the small offerings made by Virgin to attempt to make it up. If the Sky channels dont come back, im switching. This whole thing is ridiculous. If Sky does not return, I want a discount, as I did not sign up to this.
