    Virgin Took Over
Broadband played up with no real access for nearly one month.
Then NO Sky Channels but there is Virgin Central that shows repeats of shows we have already seen. Thats if you can access it, which for the most part you can't.
I would also like to know how a channel that shows old repeats can compete against The award winning SKY SPORTS NEWS, a must for sports fans everywhere, and Sky One which brings bang up to date drama from US.
The best bit of all.....Branson didn't even ask his customers what they wanted. It's bad enough living in a 'Nanny State@ with watching Mr Branson's version of 'Nanny TV'. Try asking your customers what they want Mr Branson, it might help. I always respected you as a man of the people, how wrong can one girl be. So much for choice I'm switching.

2.2p per day per customer to 3p per day per customer 0.8p a day rise...i'm really going to feel that pinch..I'd like to say I am more than happy to pay the extra £3 a year to retain Sky One etc.. though as usual I suspect listening to what customers actually want is not at the top of the agenda. I have no interest in being the rope in a tug of war between murdoch and branson, why not allow customers to have a choice and let customer service be the differentiator for a change.

Itâ??s so interesting to read all these responses. Itâ??s all so self-centred. People want their programmes back that they watch so religiously and they forget the whole picture. Hello!!! for heaven sake...if you want those programmes back, sign up to Sky...Its easy...If you want to pay extra for these programmes, go and get it...nothing is stopping you...Thatâ??s the beauty of competition!!! But for Gods sake stop moaning. There is more than enough to choose from Virgin. I for instance cannot believe we GAINED a new quality channel - Animal Planet - that we didn't have before. This makes up more than enough...for us in any case...

Now I believe that Vigin Media will make up for the loss of content. They already said they will invest the money they save from paying Sky for those over-priced channels into bringing more content to the customer. You will see in a few months the bewildered customers will flock back in their thousands. So please give them (Virgin) a chance...This is still growing pains. Remember, there was a big merger bringing together a few companies. It takes time to get the gears running smoothly â?? and by the way they are doing fine at this moment â?? be patient!!! Itâ??s good to know that they bargain for the best prices on our behalf and they do not cave in on unrealistic demands!!! Put that in your pipe and smokeâ?¦
