What do you think of Sky withdrawing its non-premium channels like Sky One, Sky News and Sky Sports News from Virgin Media's TV service?

sky one I will miss for stargate-sg-1 and battlestar galactica.Any chance of getting these back?
I wish everyone would stop moaning and give VM a chance to sort this out. I'm not saying VM are the best but I've had very few problems with them. I have broadband, TV and phone.
This all reminds me of stock exchange crashes and banks going under because everyone panicked and wanted their money.
I really really like Stargate SG1 and Atlantis, but I'm going to hang on and see if this situation can be resolved. Good idea about VM getting their own channel and showing these programmes themselves.
I've heard complaints that Sky is not as good as most people think. They take ages to install broadband and their set top boxes also cost a lot and are not replaced free as VM do.
Virgin Rule, Sky Drool!
I can't underdstand why everyone is on such a downer with Virgin. I can sympathise with the people who didn't have a choice about wether they swapped or not and had thier channels torn away from them, but everyone who chose to sign up without checking which channels they were and weren't getting cannot start whinging and demanding discounts here there and everywhere. Sky One sucked anyway (who wants to watch non-stop Simpsons repeats? Dream Team? Utter drivel! Thank you Virgin, for turning this crap off!) SKY should be blamed for withdrawing thier channels not Virgin, who stood up to them and refused to give in to bully boy tactics. It is about time we had more American networks to choose from (like HBO etc), Sky should not be allowed to have the manopoly on absolutely everything we watch. People, there is a wider range of channels and programmes now than there ever has been. How lazy do you have to be to not even bother pressing the button on the clicker? Or, get off your arse and not watch the telly at all! WELL DONE VIRGIN MEDIA, DO NOT BACK DOWN!!!
I have spent best part of 3 hours this weekend trying to get through on the phone to NTL/Virgin.I gave up & phoned SKY who I got through to within 3 minutes!Like most other people I would have paid the measly few pounds extra to keep the programs I choose to watch with my hard earned cash had i been given the choice! Any business should have alarm bells ringing the size of Big Ben.IS ANYBODY LISTENING????
What do you intend to do about 24, I have watched the first 10 episodes and now cant see the rest, telewest had there problems god knows I had experienced enough of them and when VM took over I breathed a sigh of releief hoping for an improved service instead it gets worse. I will nto jump ship straight away but will if the service doesn't improve, there is very little i watch on TV 2 of the main programs are 24 and Lost both on sky 1 ! Dont get me wrong i would not go to Sky but now I have lost what i mainly watch I have to ask if it is worth it at all I think i will go with free view and save the money to buy some DVD's.
