I think what sky is doing is illegal and i think IT is not Virgin Media'S fault, it's right to stand up to Sky because sky should not have the monopoly of satellite/cable tv. get the tv watchdog involved and make sky pay a heavy fine for setting prices, AND STOP THE MONOPOLY.

P.S. I CAN NOT GET SKY AND NOW I AM CONSIDERING BOYCOTTING SKY PROGRAMMES IF EVERYBODY DID THIS SKY WOULD BE OUT OF BUSINESS.

Take the fight to their door a new channel to replace sky1 etc
Talk to fox,cbs etc and buy in those shows firstwith a plus 1 channel. I am sure Sir Richard and Steve will have an answer.
Its their new business that will fail if they dont. There are a lot of people that will switch to sky or worse go to terestrial only!

joined sky... hey guess what the monopily meant i also had to have a BT phone which cost £150 to install & 6 weeks later i got a line i didnt want as they are rip off merchants to start with. also meant i could only have a BT approved service provider for web (AOL) eaugh !
then my saviour Virgin yay, now i dont have to pay over the odds with other services like sky that ur forced into.... if u want sky channels then go 4 it. but trust me when it rains snows or stormy ud regret it as everything shuts down & u dnt even get the basics. & for all those brainiacs if ur stupid enough to switch & pay more just for repeats u can get elsewhere then more 4 u...... nufff said

It's very sad. I just watched the last moments of Sky1 - volcanic eruptions or something like that. All of a sudden, a black picture and a message to say that is was unavailable...

It was a great channel!!! no doubt! but that tight boss of Sky has got the UK TV media companies under its control. Either everyone moves to Sky or Virgin Media makes a just-as-good channel! (P.S. if you do make a new channel, branson, include the simpsons :D)
