We wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone who took time to tell us how you felt about the withdrawal of Sky's basic services.
We've heard from heaps of you over the last few days and we've been taking on board lots of your opinions and views.
You can read the views of some our customers below, and if you'd like to have your say, just email us at fairplay@virginmedia.com.
Come back and visit the site again soon, and you can see a comprehensive review of all the feedback we've received, good and bad.
I have just checked and I can't even get cable in my area so why all the harping on about sky covering up the truth. If you can't offer the same service to the whole populus you should just put up with what you can offer.
Just a glance across random pages suggests you will lose lots of customers, bad move Mr Branson, Can't you at least help your existing customers and print Sky's subscription number so we don't have to look it up ourselves?
Dream Team - Nonsense, Fear Factor - Nonsense and what does sky 2 & 3 show anyway? I have no idea so won't miss them. Teletext is as good a service as sky news - only need football results so again not bothered about loosing it!
I'm sure though, that when microsoft released IE as standard they got penalised for unfair competition, I'm sure these same rules apply for sky and sky one etc!
This just stinks for consumers like you and me. Virgin and Sky are doing nothing but long term putting the prices up by ending up with competing channels meaning higher bids for content for these channels meaning higher bills for us the ordinary people, I wish the government would step in and take the network off Virgin like they did BT and Ofcom slap Sky for causing so much trouble, thanks Richard for screwing us over.... yet again!
As much as the media does not seem to have the full story on this drama between Mr B and Sky, as many others have stated, the only people losing out are the customers. Half way through 24, Bones, and a whole bunch of new exciting shows on Sky. Sky is getting dropped, and loyal ntl/Virgin customers have to hear it through the news, not from virgin media. Am not surprised that loads of comments include moving over to Sky. It doesn't matter what is going on between Virgin and Sky... Sort it out for the customers!!
