What do you think about convicted criminals winning lottery money?

Habitual petty criminal Michael Carroll was one of the most famous convicts to win millions on the lottery. Do you think there should be some screening of lotto winners? Should criminals be made to give some of their winnings to victims of their crimes? Or is a winner a winner, regardless of their lifestyle?

Personally i think that any one that has been in trouble with the law shouldn't be allowed to play the lottery. Its ridiculous that criminals are allowed to keep such money when people live in poverty.
Let the good law abiding people play and let the louts go do something else, lets face it if criminals win that sort of money what are they going to use it for? Think about that one.

any criminals winning money either from lottery or other sources should give the money up,to compensate their victims and to pay for their keep.
