What do you think about convicted criminals winning lottery money?

Habitual petty criminal Michael Carroll was one of the most famous convicts to win millions on the lottery. Do you think there should be some screening of lotto winners? Should criminals be made to give some of their winnings to victims of their crimes? Or is a winner a winner, regardless of their lifestyle?

criminals who win the lottery should pay for all court cases if they have been found guilty and compensation should be paid to their victims

He has shown he can't handle life, and is a complete muppet, so the money just went to his head. He should have been made to pay for his crimes, instead tried to pay his way out of them
