UK's first super casino: good or bad?

Manchester recently won the bid to be the venue for the UK's first Vegas-style super casino.

Do you think a super casino in the UK is a good or bad thing? Is Manchester the right choice? Will gambling problems rise? Will you be visiting once the casino is built?

    Why make one super casino?

Why don't they just relax the rules on the exsisting casinos and let them all have a lion's share?

Another case of Tony Blair not engaging brain before jumping in with two big feet.

what is the fuss about.... yes, you can get addicted to gambling.. as well as drink, drugs cigarettes and loadsa other stuff. Just because the casino is big it doesnt mean you have to bet big. You can go in a small bookies and loose thousands. Its about time people took responsibility for their own actions!! Nobody forces you gamble.

I don't think it matters where they put the super casino becuase if this government carries on as it is increasing every tax they can think of, they even want us to pay to drive on the roads now, then nobody will have any money left to go to the casino with. We will have another white elephant on our hands like the millenium dome.

Super casino,s nor any other casino for that matter should not be allowed,
i know people who gamble all there
food&rent money just playing bingo so
just imaging what a super casino would
do.I also feel that a super casino will only make run down areas worse
why not put the money to something
    more worthwhile.
