Manchester recently won the bid to be the venue for the UK's first Vegas-style super casino.
Do you think a super casino in the UK is a good or bad thing? Is Manchester the right choice? Will gambling problems rise? Will you be visiting once the casino is built?
Place your opinions now!
What does it matter where it is at the the end of the day, and if the government allows them to be built, why isnt it up to local planners if they have one in their back garden or not. Blackpool has truely seen better days, but why does that automatically give it the right to a limited resource like the casino ? There are many other run down seaside resorts and landlocked dumps too.
~Let the casino companies bid to put the damned things where they want and leave it up to the local councils and local people.
Blackpool was the obvious choice more than enough hotels to cater for walks of life. As most people can see on the news Manchester gangsters seem to have more guns than the British Army
i am fed with the virgin media traning trying to go to some other company
No, if Manchester does bring in congestion charging them it deserves to lose out.
why not it should go to manchester it will provide jobs for people & if people do make themselves skint in the casino then thats their fault if you are not willing to lose the money or cannot afford to lose the money then stay away.
