Are you a regular at the bookies, be it of the online or high street variety?
Which events do you bet on regularly? Is it a science or pot luck? What are your tips for coming out on top?
What's the most you've ever won or blown?
i,ve been betting on betfair for a while now betting and laying, i few times i,ve fell foul to the inside info scandals, betfair make big noises about stamping this out but as long as they keep the big fish happy they keep getting wads of commision , small fry like me do not count and they will not do anything to rectify loses incur through skulldugarry, needless to say i,ll not be invlved with them again and would recommend to anyone to stay well clear!!!!!!
I do a five pound fixed odds football coupon every saturday and haven't won a thing all season! Although last season I had Scotland to beat Norway, France to beat Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland to beat England and won 680 quid! That's my best bookies win!
It's a bit of fun in my eyes. I have rules though; Bet only what you can afford to lose and be prepared to lose, that's it! It is a skill as unlike the lottery for instance, you can use form to guide your selections although at the end of the day your still placing your hard earned on an animal that may just decide not to on the day you back it! Best win was nearly £800 back off of a £5 each way yankee. Could of been a grand or two if I'd went straight for the wins however I like my each ways!
I dont use bookies the national i have a £ flutter on the sweep at the local,Reason for this during the 80s i won £98,000 at a casino for a ten pound chip in london.4 hours later i had nothing.for a year after that my rent was not paid nor bills even my kids went without, its like a hole once in its hard to get out.win some but lose a damn sight more! FRIENDS&FAMILY,And it takes years to get them back trust me...
