Police and immigration officers will be able to stop anyone and demand proof of identity under proposed new powers to be announced. Anybody who refuses the Big Brother demand could face arrest and a possible prison sentence. The move would effectively take Britain back to the Second World War, when people were stopped and asked to 'show their papers'. What do you think? Should the police be able to demand ID anytime?
I say yes because not one no voter on here has made a valid point yet.
You lot all voted labour in now reap what you sow.
I am perfect and never wrong (and also modest)

Is the uk still a Democracy?
The illegal unwanted immigrants here don't know who they are as they
stuff our money and resources, so why shouldn't the black shirts tell them on there way sunshine.
and uncivil ones at that!
Definitely NOT. What do they hope to achieve? The police already have all the powers they need to stop and question anyone they suspect is a terrorist or has committed a crime or may be about to commit a crime. Ordinary people going about their business should not be harassed in this way. Most of us are just decent citizens to work, to the shops or walking the dog. We don't need this! It won't achieve anything.
