Pressure is being put on senior cabinet ministers to push Gordon Brown out of No.10 if Labour's poor
As much as I think that Gordon Brown is a liability the present world economic situation makes it imperative that we do not jump ship to another person who will not have the knowledge or experience that Brown has
Definitely overdue. He's been responsible for much of today's problems including the biggest raid on personal finances for years, the concealed removal of tax credits for pension funds. In the good times he has spent with any prudence
of course its time for him to go he's screwed up and ruined this country
So what if you don't like him, its politics that count, people shouldn't be so shallow. Everyone forgets that he and the Labour government are picking up the pieces after the greed and buy now pay later, politics of Thatcherism.
This is actually the time for him to stay. Don't ignore experience in a crisis and don't ignore the fact that if he 'steered us into this iceberg' then make him accountable for rescuing us. If you bring in someone new, then he/she wont feel the same sense of accountability. I have been impressed by his dealing with the current crisis and i see his hand on it rather than Darlings
