Official figures released by the Office for National Statistics have revealed that one in five homes in Britain rely entirely on benefits, with no family members going out to work. Is this down to a job shortage, or are families sponging off the state?

What a judgemental lot we are. We all know that everyone on the dole is fiddling. All single mums have 6 children by different fathers, and all immigrants are abusing the system. Its amazing how much everyone knows about everyone elses life without actually knowing anything at all. The saying is if you wan to know how I live walk a day in my shoes. Politicians sponge of the state with their mega expenses yet nobody mentions that nor the fact that they employ family members to do some made up job called research.
Keith from Lanc` s.Have a good time in the BEAR garden.I`m going to the BEER garden for a well earned pint,CHEERS.
i think unfortuantly there are some who do need help
and are not recieving the help and benifits the deserve
but also there are those that realy are taking the mick
i was unemployed for three months three years ago
and my how its changed people drivin up the the job centre in there 40 thousand pound cars all dressed in new fashion clothing big gold chains etc etc
and all demanding every benifit going
it was sad to see any goverment getting into this sort of mess,
people do now see it as a living, and not short term help
so of course the answer is sadly yes
