Over 1000 GP surgeries around the country have switched their telephone numbers from a local area code to a more expensive “0844” prefix, potentially resulting in higher call charges for patients. While the providers of the new lines argue that they ease call congestion to surgeries, critics claim that the new numbers put an unfair financial burden on patients. i phone this 0845 number tat costs me a fortune, sit there on hold only to be told that i cant get an appointment to see any of 8 doctors to fit around taking my son to nursery because they sll shut down for lunch.

OUR SURGERY HAS INTODUCED AN 0844 NUMBER,IT IS A CRIME AND WE HAVE HAD IT CONFIRMED BY BT THERE IS NO REASON AS THEY COULD USE THE NORMAL DIALLING CODE 01733 AND STILL HAVE THE SAME PHONE SYSTEM.THESE 0844 ARE OUTRAGEOUS AND COST US FAR MORE MONEY THE NHS AND OUR DOCTORS DO NOT CARE AND ARE RIPPING US POOR PEOPLE OFF COME ON DOCTORS PLEASE DO NOT BLEED US DRY

WHAT IS SO SURPRISING, IS THAT WE ARE STILL SURPRISED, AT BEING RIPPED OFF.THE ONLY PEOPLE NOT STEALING ARE THOSE WHO DON,T KNOW HOW.IT SEEMS THAT SOME PEOPLE(especially in government & town halls)HAVE A FULL TIME JOB,DREAMING UP SCAMS TO GET THE MONEY OUT OF HONEST WORKING FOLK.
