More than 200 people have been forced to leave their homes after heavy rain caused serious flooding in Cumbria

    Regular Flooding is with us, and is going to get worse--FACT.
    What can we do--stop replacing gardens and natural ground drainage areas with concrete. Stop your council allowing house to be built on flood plains. Consider lobbying the Environmental Agency for better river / stream protection. Lobby OFWAT to allow more money to be spent by the water autoritieson surface water flooding issues. If this all fails build a boat and call yourself Noah.

    Now the earthquake in Pakistan has been delt with, I can't wait for them to send THEIR aid to come and help the uk!!

    We were flooded out in 2007, Have got every sympathy with the people that have had the floods.No one knows how hard it is unless you have experienced it. Thinking of you all at this awful time.
