Prime Minister Gordon Brown suffered an embarrassing rebuff when he floated the prospect of a new tax worldwide, only to have it flatly and publicly rejected by the United States and other major financial players

    Gordons tax ideas publicly rejected out of hand be funny if it was'nt so ludicrously sad, Still at least it will give our comedians more topical material for their comedy acts which will never be in short supply whilst New Labour are in power.
